April 27 (SeeNews) - Moldova's health ministry said on Monday that coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 3,408 from 3,304 a day earlier.
To date, most of the cases have been registered in Chisinau (981), Soroca (250) and Stefan Voda (249), the health ministry said in a press release.
So far, Moldova has reported 101 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 925 patients have recovered.
Some 40,003 people are in self-isolation across the country.
Since March 23, Moldova's emergency situations committee has banned people older than 63 years from leaving their home except to go to work, buy medicines or food or walk their pets.
On March 17, Moldova's parliament declared a countrywide state of emergency, in force until May 16.
