January 23 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by a real 5% year-on-year in December, reaching 939 marka ($532.5/480.1 euro), the entity's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net salary increased by 2.3% in real terms in December, after adding 1% a month earlier, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, December's net monthly pay was 5.4% higher year-on-year and 2.3% higher month-on-month.
The average gross monthly salary in the Serb Republic amounted to 1,461 marka in December.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
