January 2 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic government decided to lift the minimum monthly wage to 520 marka ($298/266 euro) as of 2020, it said.
The minimum salary in the Serb Republic is set by the entity's government at the proposal of the Economic and Social Council, the government said in a statement on Monday.
The Economic and Social Council is an advisory body established with the aim to promote dialogue between the workers' organisations, employers and the government.
At the end of 2018, the Serb Republic government decided to increase the minimum monthly wage to 450 marka.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
