August 22 (SeeNews) - The producer price index (PPI) on the domestic market in the industrial sector of Bosnia's Serb Republic rose 7.5% on the year in July after increasing at the same rate in June, official figures showed on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices in the Serb Republic lost 0.4% in July, following a 0.5% rise in June, according to a monthly report posted on the website of the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic.
By purpose of consumption, the producer price index in the manufacturing industry rose 11.6% year-on-year in July, compared to a 11.3% increase in June; in the mining industry it added 3.6%, down from 7.4% in June; while the price of utilities remained unchanged for the fourth month in a row.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
In 2017, the Serb Republic's PPI on the domestic market rose by 2.0%, compared to an average growth of 1.5% in the prior year.
