July 15 (SeeNews) - The economic output of Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by a real 3.9% last year, compared to 3.1% growth in 2017, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
In nominal terms, the Serb Republic's gross domestic product (GDP) totalled 10.7 billion marka ($6.2 billion/5.5 billion euro) and was 6% higher compared to the 2017 level, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said in a statement.
The largest real growth of gross value added in 2018 was recorded in the sector of administrative and support service activities, as well as in the electricity, gas and steam supply sector.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
