Bosnia's Serb Republic avg net wage up real 7.1% y/y in May

On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 0.4% higher in real terms in May, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement.

The average gross monthly salary in the entity amounted to 2,146 marka in May, up 0.5% in real terms compared to April.

The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic reached 1,274 marka in 2023 and was higher by a real 4.1% on the year, the same office has said earlier.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
