July 12 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Sarajevo Canton launched a call for proposals for consulting services to establish a new company for public transport in the canton, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
The canton is seeking offers for consulting services such as legal assistance, setting up an entity, hiring and management policies and GAP, a notice published on the EBRD's e-procurement portal ECEPP last week showed.
The deadline for submitting proposals is September 1.
The canton will use funding from a loan provided by the EBRD to cover costs for the contract, the notice read.
The government of Sarajevo Canton in March decided to establish a new public transport company which would replace financially troubled public transport operator Gras.
The Sarajevo Canton is one of ten cantons making up the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
