Bosnia's NLB Banka Sarajevo to pay lower dividend for 2023

July 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's NLB Banka Sarajevo [SAJ:TZLBRK2], owned by Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Thursday it will distribute a dividend of 18.91 marka ($10.4/9.7 euro) per share for 2023.

NLB Banka Sarajevo's shareholders approved the dividend distribution proposal at a meeting held on June 27, the lender in a bourse filing.

The bank paid out a dividend of 39.19 marka per share for 2022.

NLB Banka Sarajevo's net profit rose 30.8% year-on-year to 26.1 million marka in 2023.

Its shares have not traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange in the past year.

NLB Banka is based in Sarajevo, in Bosnia's Federation entity.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic. NLB has another subsidiary in Bosnia, which is based in Banja Luka, in the Serb Republic.
