Bosnia's MF Grupa buyout bid for MF Banka attracts no interest

May 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's financial group MF Grupa said on Thursday that its offer to buy all the shares it does not already own in local MF Banka [BANJ:IEFB] attracted no investor interest.

None of the remaining shareholders in MF Banka accepted MF Grupa's offer which was active from April 27 to May 28, the financial group said in a filing lodged with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.

MF Grupa offered 193.27 marka ($106.9/98.8 euro) per each MF Banka share in the buyout bid, according to an earlier filing.

The financial group owns a 94.87% stake in MF Banka. The bank's share capital is divided into 511,410 shares, each with a par value of 100 marka.

The lender's shares have not traded on the Banja Luka bourse in the past year.
