August 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 2.0% on the year in the first quarter of 2018, the country's government said.
Bosnia's January-March GDP grew by 0.6% over the last quarter of 2017, according to seasonally adjusted data, the Council of Ministers said on Wednesday, after adopting data from the country's directorate for economic planning, DEP.
Growth was achieved in all categories except for public spending, which decreased by 0.2%, the government noted.
The European Commission predicted last month that Bosnia's economy will end 2018 with a growth of 3.4%, before reaching 3.9% in 2020.
