September 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's foreign debt rose to 9.3 billion marka ($5.6 billion/4.8 billion euro) at the end of the second quarter, from 8.8 billion marka at the end of March, the country's finance ministry said.The external debt of the Federation decreased to 5.1 billion marka at the end of June from 5.2 billion marka at the end of March, whereas that of the Serb Republic rose to 4.1 billion marka from 3.5 billion marka, the finance ministry said in a quarterly report.Brcko's external debt was 48.2 million marka at the end of June, flat compared with the end of March. The external debt of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina slightly fell to 64.6 million marka from 65.3 million marka.At the end of the second quarter of 2020, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s foreign debt totalled 8.7 billion marka, earlier data showed.The Federation and the Serb Republic are the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. Brcko is a self-governing administrative unit in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina which is part of both the Federation and the Serb Republic.(1 euro = 1.95583 marka)
