January 15 (SeeNews) - The registered unemployment rate in Bosnia's Federation remained unchanged month-on-month at 38.3% at the end of November, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
Among women, unemployment edged down slightly to 46.2% in November from 46.3% a month earlier, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.
The number of unemployed people in the Federation decreased by 0.2% month-on-month in November, to 322,978.
The number of employed people added 0.1% to 520,918 in November. The economically active population in the Federation totalled 843,896 people in November.
The registered unemployment rate is calculated as the ratio of the number of unemployed to the total active population.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
