Bosnia's Federation industrial sales rise 8.5% y/y in Oct

December 9 (SeeNews) - The industrial sales of Bosnia's Federation rose by 8.5% on the year in October, following an increase of 25.2% in September, official figures showed.

Industrial sales on the non-domestic market increased 12.9% on the year in October, while sales on the domestic market rose by 2.5%, according to first estimates of the Federation's statistical office released last week.

In October, sales of capital goods rose 30.7% on an annual comparison basis, sales of non-durable consumer goods were 10.4% higher, and sales of intermediate goods increased by 7.6%, while energy sales dropped 12.7% and sales of durable consumer goods decreased 6.2%.

On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's industrial sales were 7.5% lower in October, following a revised increase of 5.5% in September.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
