April 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's economic growth slowed to 2.0% in 2016 from 3.0% a year earlier, the country's agency for statistics said in a GDP flash estimate on Thursday.
The economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina expanded by a real 2.6% year-on-year in the last quarter of 2016, accelerating from a 2.3% annual growth rate in the third quarter, non-seasonally adjusted data posted on the website of the agency showed.
In the last quarter of 2015, GDP grew by 2.2% year-on-year.
Compared with the fourth quarter of 2015, the sector of administrative activities showed a real 13% growth of the gross value added in the period October-December 2016, followed by other services and activities with a 10.6% growth rate and agriculture with 5.6% expansion.
Bosnia's economy expanded by a real 0.7% quarter on quarter in the period October-December, according to seasonally-adjusted data.
