Bosnia's building permits up 7.7% y/y in May

June 25 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in May totalled 446, up 7.7% on the year, the statistical office said on Tuesday.

Of the total number of permits issued in May, 296 covered buildings, whereas 150 were issued for civil engineering works, the statistical office said in a monthly statement.

Based on the number of issued permits, 797 new dwellings have been planned for construction, up 33.1% on the year.

The overall number of building permits issued in Bosnia in 2023 was 14.8% higher on the year, while the number of new dwellings planned for construction rose 6.9%, the same statistical office has said earlier.
