February 25 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer Triglav Osiguranje [SAJ:BHOSR], part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, said on Friday that its net profit rose 1.2% year-on-year in 2021, to 2.5 million marka ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro).
Gross written premiums increased 6.8% on the year to 40.6 million marka, while income from fees and commissions rose to 5.9 million marka in 2021 from nearly 4 million marka in 2020, the company said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
The insurer's operating costs rose 18.2% year-on-year to 19.4 million marka in 2021.
Triglav Osiguranje's shares have nod traded on the SASE in the past year.
Triglav Group is an international corporation founded in Slovenia.It also operates in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
