March 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer ASA Osiguranje said on Wednesday its net profit increased 27.3% on the year in 2021, reaching 3.2 million marka ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro).
The insurer's gross written premiums went up 21.1% to 45.4 million marka in 2021, ASA Osiguranje said in a filing to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
ASA Osiguranje's operating expenses increased to 15.4 million marka last year, from 13.5 million marka in 2020.
The insurer started operations in October 2007. It is part of ASA Group, which comprises some 20 companies active in consulting, marketing and financial services as well as imports and sale of motor vehicles and auto parts.
Its shares last traded on the SASE on December 27, closing 84% higher at 184 marka.
