June 30 (SeeNews) - State-owned road company Ceste FBiH opened for traffic the M-17.3 highway linking the country's only coastal town of Neum with the town of Stolac following investment of 96.5 million marka ($51.4 million/49.3 million euro), the government of Bosnia's Federation said on Thursday.
The highway includes two tunnels and spans 36.47 kilometres, the Federation's government said in a press release.
The project, which was launched in April 2018, was financed by the government of the Federation.
The M-17.3 highway is part of European Corridor Vc, which connects the port of Ploce in Croatia to Budapest in Hungary via Bosnia.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other entity.
