Austria’s Steirmarkische Bank und Sparkassen has filed a bid for Macedonian Investbanka, the Skopje-based bank said on Monday, after earlier announcing it was negotiating for the Austrian bank to buy 100% of its share capital. “On July 11, Steiermärkische Bank und Sparkassen AG filed a buyout bid to the Investbanka’s Supervisory Board, according to the law on takeover of joint stock companies”, the Skopje bank said in statement filed with the Macedonia’s Stock Exchange where it is listed.
