January 20 (SeeNews) - The bankruptcy management of Bosnian sugar mill Secerana has lowered the price for the company's assets to 9.0 million marka ($5.4 million/4.9 million euro) from 9.5 million marka in the last unsuccesful auction held in November, local media reported.
The new auction will take place on January 27, news wire Indikator.ba reported over the weekend.

Investors from Turkey, Vietnam, Serbia, as well as Bosnian firm Pavgord have shown interest in Secerana's assets but none of them has managed to match the ask price for its assets and reach an agreement with its creditors, the news outlet noted.
Secerana's assets were first offered for sale in 2017 for 15 million marka and since then the price has been cut by 500,000 marka in each of the subsequent attempts to sell them, Indikator.ba
The company went bankrupt some four years ago over an outstanding debt of 16.5 million marka.
Bijeljina-based Secerana was the only sugar mill in the Serb Republic, one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
