January 23 (SeeNews) - Real estate company Velgraf Asset Management [BUL:1VX] generated 77% of the daily turnover on the Bulgarian stock exchange, as the blue-chip index SOFIX remained unchanged, bourse data showed on Monday.
Velgraf Asset Management closed flat at 3.620 levs as 106,000 shares changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover fell to 495,500 ($271,000/252,800 euro) on Monday, from 1.2 million levs levs on Friday.
SOFIX closed unchanged at 605.22 points, after edging up 0.02% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange, rose 0.33% to 116.62 points, following an increase by 0.03% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, fell 0.24% to 107.58 points. It closed 0.35% lower on Friday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.24% to 468.87 points, following a decline by 0.02% on Friday.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] led the blue-chip gainers on Monday, adding 0.90% to 2.250 levs as 25 of the company’s shares were traded.
Real estate investment trust (REIT) Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6] was the top blue-chip decliner on Monday, falling by 0.47% to 2.120 levs as 2,100 shares changed hands.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip on Monday. A total of 12,260 company shares traded at an average price of 1.699 levs.
