SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 29 (SeeNews) – Tubis Bulgaria, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany’s Tubis AG, will invest 6.82 million levs ($3.64 million/3.48 million euro) in a new factory and a research and development centre, the economy ministry in Sofia said on Thursday.
The factory will produce oil from polymers, while the research centre will focus on optimising the process of recycling plastic waste, the economy ministry said in a press release.
Both facilities will be located in the village of Pobeda, in northern Bulgaria.
Tubis Bulgaria specializes in recycling plastic products.
