March 28 (SeeNews) - The municipality of Tirana said it has opened tender procedures for a project envisaging the rehabilitation of an area next to the New Bazaar, a touristic hotspot in the city’s centre, with a budget estimated at 695.4 million leks ($7.2 million/6.7 million euro).
The project envisages the rehabilitation of facades and the construction of a two-floor parking spot below the Avni Rustemi square, the municipality said in a tender notice on Wednesday.
Prospective bidders must be able to complete excavation, foundation, concrete structures, demolition, facade enhancements, insulation, installation of windows and doors, asphalt and gravel laying, plumbing installations, and various fittings and fixtures, within 18 months.
Offers can be submitted until April 26.
