November 29 (SeeNews) - German gas springs producer Stabilus and car electronics manufacturer Draxlmaier are interested in launching joint cooperation projects in Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania, the Bulgarian agency for promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises said.
Stabilus sees enormous potential for growth and development in Bulgaria both for the company and the country's economy, the government agency said in a press release on Friday following a conference organised by the German Association Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) in Bucharest, Romania.

Sixteen Bulgarian firms took part in the conference, including Ansa Borima, Bultraf, Dilcom Bulgaria, Enerkemikal, PMB Industries, Techmash, Skymont and Sonic Hybrids.
Draxlmaier, founded in 1958, has 58 factories in 22 countries. Its customers include automobile brands BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar and Bugatti. In Southeastern Europe (SEE), the company has operations in Romania, Serbia, Macedonia and Moldova.
Stabilus, founded in 1934, operates 9 production sites worldwide. In the SEE region, the company already operates in Romania.
