December 20 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index fell 1.26% to 548.24 points on Friday, hurt by a drop in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
Eurohold shares erased 5.88% to 1.6 levs on Friday. The company hit a 23-month low of 1.36 levs on Tuesday, and made a comeback attempt in the next two trading sessions.

Other major decliners among SOFIX members on Friday were car battery maker Monbat [BUL:5MB] and diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4], which lost 4.69% and 3.15%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.73% to 109.33 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.14% to 501.98 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, edged up 0.09% to 130.44 points on Friday.
Total daily regulated market turnover fell to some 2.05 million levs on Friday from 2.75 million levs on Thursday.
