August 15 (SeeNews) - Slovenian banking group NLB, the parent company of Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR], said that its consolidated after-tax profit rose to 287 million euro ($293.7 million) in the first half of 2022, from 139.8 million euro in the same period of last year.
NLB Group's total net operating income increased 7% year-on-year to 358.1 million euro in January-June, NLB Group said in an interim financial report on Friday.
Net interest income rose 14% to 226.4 million euro, as net non-interest income went down 3% to 131.7 million euro.
Total costs fell 11% to 218.7 million euro.
The group's assets rose 5% on the year to 22.730 billion euro at the end of June.
In Southeast Europe, NLB Group is active in Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro.
