January 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenian drug maker Krka expects its 2008 group net profit to be in line with its plan of 160 million euro ($208 million) as sales rose 22% to 950 million euro, it said on Thursday.
Parent sales rose by one-fifth to 826 million euro last year, Krka said in a statement.
The company said it will release its unaudited 2008 financial results at the end of February.
Shares in blue chip Krka rose 2.33% to an average price of 53.21 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday. The company released its statement after the end of trading.
