October 22 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in September increased by 46% month-on-month to 918, the office of national statistics said.
A total of 428 permits were issued for residential projects in September, up from August's 241, and 490 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up from August's 387, the statistical office said in a statement on Thursday.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in September stood at some 255,397 sq m, up from 169,201 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.
The construction of 642 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in September, up from 379 in August.
