SKOPJE (North Macedonia), January 17 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 4,872.39 points on Friday, up by 0.7% compared to the closing value a week earlier, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 136.1 million denars ($2.4 million/2.2 million euro) in five sessions this week from 70.3 million denars in three sessions last week.
The MSE was closed on January 6 and 7 for Orthodox Christmas holidays.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] accounted for the largest portion of trading turnover on the MSE this week - 30.5 million denars, as 4,124 of its shares changed hands in 105 transactions.
MSE's OMB bond index closed at 132.89 points on Friday, slightly down from 132.91 points recorded at the end of last week.
