May 10 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 7,305.82 points on Friday, some 0.3% higher compared with its closing value of 7,281.88 points on May 2, the last trading day of the previous week, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) dropped to 55.6 million denars ($971,464/902,077 euro) in three trading sessions this week from 73.2 million denars in as many trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on May 1 for Labour Day, on May 3 and May 6 for the Easter holidays and on May 8 due to elections.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the most to the trading turnover on the MSE this week, as 984 of the lender's shares changed hands in 61 transactions worth a total of 17.7 million denars.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.88 points on May 10, unchanged compared to the closing value on May 2.
