April 23 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Vojvodina province plans to open a tender to seek bids from contractors for the upgrade of its irrigation infrastructure, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which finances the project, said.
The tender will be launched on April 23 by Vojvodina's public water management company Vode Vojvodine, and will have a June 3 deadline, the EBRD said in a brief statement on Monday.
The required works are part of a project for the construction and rehabilitation of priority irrigation infrastructure in Vojvodina with a total estimated value of 15 million euro ($16 million), according to earlier information from the lender.
The EBRD signed the 15 million euro loan deal with Serbia in 2021.
