July 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit went up 10.3% on the year to $3.508 billion (2.951 billion euro) in the first half of 2021, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The country's exports grew by 40.5% to $12.134 billion in January-June, while imports went up by 32.4% to $15.642 billion, the office said in a statement.
The export-import ratio rose to 77.6% from 73.1% in the first six months of 2020.
In June alone, Serbia's exports went up 38.6% on the year to $2.187 billion and imports rose 44.0% to $2.91 billion, resulting in a $722.5 million deficit.
