May 8 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Erste Bank Novi Sad recorded a net profit of 2.5 billion dinars ($22.9 million/21.3 million euro) in the first quarter of 2024, up 29.3% on the year, the bank said on Wednesday.
Net interest income grew 23.5% to 4 billion dinars, while net fee and commission income increased 22.6% to 990 million dinars, Erste Bank Novi Sad said in a press release.
The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of the bank was 2.7% at the end of March.
Erste Bank Novi Sad is part of Vienna-based Erste Group, which serves over 16 million clients in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia.
