December 5 (SeeNews) - Romanian tour operator Christian Tour, part of local travel group Memento, has agreed to take over charter airline Animawings Aviation S.A., Romania's Competition Council said.
The competition watchdog said Monday it will assess the terms of the notified transaction in accordance with current legislation to determine whether it can be granted clearance.

Financial details were not disclosed
Established in 2019 by Memento, Animawings has been controlled by Greece's flag carrier Aegean Airlines since 2021, which paid 1.3 million euro (1.41 million) in total for a 51% stake.
Memento is headquartered in Bucharest and includes 11 companies. The group has operations in Romania, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Moldova and Spain.
