March 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian technology company Visual Fan [BSE:ALW], operating under the Allview brand, said on Wednesday it will start building two photovoltaic (PV) installations with a total capacity of 1.15 MWp as part of a contract signed with an undisclosed hypermarket chain.
The PV systems will be installed on two buildings operated by the retail chain in Romania's northern cities of Baia Mare and Satu Mare, Allview said in a statement issued with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The value of the project remained undisclosed.
The design and procurement stages have already been finalised.
"This contract not only strengthens our position in the solar energy market, but also confirms our strategy to invest in the continued development of our company and to capitalise on the expertise of our team. We are proud to add this project to our portfolio and we are ready to expand in this industry in the year 2024," Visual Fan CEO Lucian Peticila said.
Visual Fan specialises in the production of consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops and smart home devices under the Allview brand. The company also offers solutions for generating green energy, balanced nutrition, and 100% electric vehicles.
In 2023, Visual Fan booked a preliminary net profit of about 7.03 million lei ($1.54 million/1.41 million euro) on a revenue of almost 134 million lei, according to an unaudited financial report filed with the stock exchange in February.
Visual Fan's shares traded 3.9% higher at 14.65 lei as at 1418 CET on Wednesday on the Bucharest bourse.
