March 21 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate investors and developers Cristian and Teo Mercioniu will build a wool-insulated residential building, the first in the capital Bucharest, real estate company iO Partners, who brokered the acquisition of the land plot for the project, said.
The nearly-zero energy building (nZEB) will host seven apartments and eleven parking spaces, iO Partners said in a press release on Wednesday.
The project follows Cristian Mercioniu's 30 million euro ($32.8 million) investment in a wool-processing facility in Olt county.
Cristian and Teo Mercioniu have developed and invested in real-estate projects worth more than 100 million euro, according to the press release.
Based in Vienna, iO Partners offers real-estate consultancy services in Romania, Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
