May 2 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Wednesday that its after-tax profit from operations in Croatia increased to 30 million euro ($32.1 million) in the first quarter of this year, from 16 million euro in the same period of 2023.
RBI's operating income in Croatia rose to 66 million euro from January to March from 58 million euro a year earlier, it said in an interim first quarter report.
Net interest income from operations in Croatia reached 44 million euro, up from 41 million euro a year earlier, while net fee and commission income rose to 19 million euro from 13 million euro in the first quarter of 2023.
General administrative expenses at RBI's Croatian unit stayed unchanged at 30 million euro in the review period.
