March 22 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new passenger cars in Romania fell 3% on the year in the January-February period, reaching 23,737 vehicles, the Romanian Car Producers and Importers Association, APIA, said.
In February alone, registrations dropped 9.5% year-on-year to 11,171 vehicles, APIA said in a press release earlier this month.

Light commercial vehicles registrations, including minibuses, increased by an annual 1.6% to 1,196 units in February, while registrations of heavy commercial vehicles and buses grew 31.8%.
As many as 31% of the new passenger cars registered in Romania during the January-February were manufactured by Dacia.
