January 25 (SeeNews) - Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Neochim closed 9.02% higher at 66.5 levs as 905 company’s shares changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 4.4 million levs ($2.4 million/2.2 million euro) from 672,000 levs on Tuesday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.99% to 611.33 points, after edging down 0.01% on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, too increased 0.99% to 117.82 points, after falling 0.57% on Tuesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, edged down 0.02% to 107.66 points, after rising 0.23% on Tuesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, closed 0.69% higher at 470.44 points, after falling 0.31% on Tuesday.
Construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] led the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday, falling 4.86% to 4.7 levs in a turnover of 8,136 shares.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip on Wednesday as 738,253 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 1.699 levs.
