July 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's textile products manufacturer Teteks [MSE:TETE] said that its non-consolidated net profit slumped to 3.2 million denars ($61,700/51,900 euro) in the first half of 2021, compared with 30.7 million denars profit booked in the same period last year.
Teteks recorded an operating revenue of 29.9 million denars in the January-June period of 2021, down from 65.7 million denars booked in the first half of 2020, the company said in an interim financial statement on Thursday.
The company's revenue from domestic sales fell to 22.4 million denars in the six months through June, from 34.9 million denars in the January-June period of last year.
The revenue from first-half sales abroad came in at 1.4 million denars, significantly lower than 15.1 million denars on the first half of 2020.
Operating expenses dropped 64% year-on-year to 25.3 million denars in the period under review.
