April 26 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's marble producer Mermeren Kombinat [MSE:MERM] said on Friday it plans to distribute a gross dividend of 2.8 euro ($3) per share for 2023, lower compared with the previous year.
The company plans to use 807.1 million denars ($14.1 million/13.1 million euro) from last year's profit to distribute the dividend, Mermeren Kombinat said in a bourse filing.
The company's shareholders will vote on the proposal at a meeting on May 30.
Mermeren Kombinat paid a gross dividend of 4.06 euro per share for 2022.
The company booked a net profit of 843.2 million denars in 2023, down 2% compared with the year before.
The marble producer's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock exchange (MSE) on November 13, at an average price of 2,575 denars.
