April 17 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's central bank said it sold 10 billion denars ($172.7 million/162.3 million euro) worth of 56-day central bank (CB) bills at an auction on Wednesday, in line with plan.
The interest rate on the securities, which equals the central bank's monetary policy rate, was set at 6.30%, the central bank said in a statement.
North Macedonia's central bank said earlier on Wednesday it decided to keep its policy rate unchanged at 6.30%, after increasing it five times last year.
