April 25 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales increased by a real 6.7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2024, accelerating from the 2.9% annual growth recorded in the previous quarter, official figures showed on Thursday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, retail trade turnover fell by a real 12.4% in the first quarter, the country's statistical office said in a statement.
Calculated at current prices, retail sales increased by 10.9% on the year and fell by 11.9% quarter-on-quarter in the January-March period.
