March 21 (SeeNews) - Moldova's industrial producer prices decreased by 2.8% year-on-year in February, easing further from an annual drop of 0.7% in January, the country's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the industrial producer price index (PPI) inched down by 0.1% in February, the National Bureau of Statistics, BNS, said in a press release on Wednesday. In January, industrial producer prices inched down by 0.8% month-on-month.
In February, the prices of intermediary and capital goods fell by 0.9% and 0.2% on the month, respectively. On the other hand, the prices of durable and non-durable goods rose by 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively. Energy prices remained unchanged.
