SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 20 (SeeNews) – Macedonian state-owned power producer ELEM has called a tender for construction works on Boskov Most hydro power plant (HPP) project, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is providing funding for the project, said on Friday.
The contract for the Lot 1 relates to construction works on a dam, a diversion system, power waterways and a powerhouse, the EBRD said in a statement.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of 2.3 million euro ($3.1 million).
Bids should be sent by March 31, 2014.
The EBRD said last year it was providing a 65 million euro sovereign loan for the construction of the 70-megawatt HPP Boskov Most, which will be located near the western town of Debar.
