January 29 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's December industrial output increased by 0.2% month-on-month after rising by a monthly 1.1% in November, the country's Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
December's industrial output was 2.6% higher than a year earlier, after a 4.8% annual rise in November.
The mining and quarrying sector reported the biggest rise in output in December, by 4.8% year-on-year, the Statistics Office said in a statement. The manufacturing industry reported a 1.4% annual rise in its December output, while the energy sector reported a 2.8% drop from December 2006.
