July 30 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange's (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index rose by 0.51% to 1,168.59 points on Friday, marking its eighth consecutive winning session, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, rose 0.92% to 1,341.53 points, LJSE data showed.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka d.d. (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] lead the blue-chip gainers, closing 3.79% higher at 65.80 euro.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was the sole decliner among the blue-chip companies, as its shares closed the session at 59.60 euro, down 5.40%.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 752,011 euro ($893,300) on Friday from 1.5 million euro generated on Thursday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the highest turnover on Friday - of 215,529 euro. Its shares ended flat at 109 euro.
