March 16 (SeeNews) - Croatian share indices bounced back in higher turnover on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose 0.44% to 2,245.83 points after falling 1.09% on Tuesday.
The narrower blue-chip index, CROBEX10, which tracks the 10 leading companies in terms of free-float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.63% to 1,248.43 points.
The CROX index, which tracks the 12 most traded stocks on the ZSE and is calculated by the Vienna bourse, closed 1.16% higher in euro terms at 1,368.57.
The preferred shares of Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-P-A] recorded the day's highest turnover of some 20.2 million kuna ($3.8 million/2.7 million euro). They closed up 0.76% at 265 kuna.
Hotel operator Istraturist Umag [ZSE:ISTT-R-A] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 5.53% to 272 kuna.
Port operator Luka Ploce [ZSE:LKPC-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, rising 4.69% to 1,340 kuna.
The bourse's total turnover in floor trading rose to 38.5 million kuna from 31 million kuna on Tuesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.05% to 96.60 points.
