February 19 (SeeNews) - The Moldovan central bank, BNM, sold 53 million lei ($4.7 million/3.2 million euro) in three Treasury bill issues as yields on all three issues fell, it said on Tuesday.
Primary dealers placed bids for 96.5 million lei worth of government securities at an auction held on February 19, the BNM, which sells the T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, said in a statement.
Yields on the 91-day T-bills fell to 15.75% from 15.89% in the previous auction held last week. Dealers wanted to buy 37.6 million lei worth of T-bills versus 26 million lei on offer.
The 182-day T-bills yielded 16.17%, lower than 16.32% in the previous auction on February 12. The BNM received bids for 21 million lei versus 12 million lei on offer.
The yield on the 364-day T-bills fell to 15.64% from 15.91% on February 12, as dealers placed bids for 37.9 million lei worth of T-bills against 15 million lei on offer.
