January 19 (SeeNews) - Pastry and salami maker Bella Bulgaria plans to build a second frozen pastry factory in the town of Svilengrad, the company said on Wednesday.
The project is part of Bella Bulgaria’s strategy to optimize and expand its pastry business, the company said in a statement.
“The aim of the optimization is to increase the capacity and the efficiency of production and logistics of frozen pastry,” Bella Bulgaria’s executive director Elza Markova said in the statement without elaborating.
Bella Bulgaria, set up in 1992, also operates in Romania and exports its products to Greece, Spain, Cyprus and Great Britain, according to information posted on its website.
